The Royal British Legion Riders Branch is a national branch of the Royal British Legion supporting the armed forces and their families; The RBLR1000 was established in 2009 to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal and to encourage riders to challenge themselves in a uniquely supportive event and gain Iron Butt certification.

The rides

There are three circular routes: Northern and Southern routes are just over 1000 miles and can be ridden clockwise or anti-clockwise. A shorter 500 mile route which must be ridden anti-clockwise. This means you actually have five routes in total to choose from.
