A little bit of paradise, located in the garden of the legendary Ancient Briton Pub in Ynys Wen (gods pocket) in the upper Swansea Valley. the ideal place for starting (or finishing a walk, ride, or visit to Wales.
We’re open every morning 7-12 and afternoon 3-6 pm, serving tea, coffee, snacks, cakes in the shadow of the Cribbarth. Drop-in for breakfast to start the day properly, or finish your walk with a hot coffee and a cake.
Plenty of parking, dog-friendly, biker friendly, cyclists and walkers very welcome too, in fact, we love you all! Camping on-site available through the pub, 6 acres, great facilities, lovely flat field. Come for the cakes, stay for the views and atmosphere.
Run by Gavin and Zara (not Stacey!) you’ll be made very welcome and fed well too. We hope to meet you at our little emporium sometime this year, don’t belong, the bacon is sizzling!
