Here at the Old Cider House we pride ourselves on offering a friendly home from home service to our big bike guests. We have our own gated car park so you can park up and leave your bike out of site for the night. We are fully licensed and offer a fixed menu in our cosy dining room (see food page for details) and even have our own on site micro–brewery. Alternatively you can dine out at one of the friendly village pubs in Nether Stowey, without having to worry about drinking and driving.
The Old Cider House is located in the village of Nether Stowey just off the A39 between Bridgwater and Minehead. The A39 offers some of the best scenic views in the West Country as the route winds it’s way along the north coast of Somerset and on into Devon. Let’s not forget Porlock Hill famous for it’s 1:4 meandering climb up onto the slopes of Exmoor. Take care on the moors however as you are likely to meet sheep and Exmoor ponies who often stray onto the road when least expected.
